Ways to Support our Mission of Culture & Performing Arts
The mission of Touchet Valley Arts Council (TVAC) is to preserve Culture and Performing Arts opportunities for youth and families in Columbia County and SE Washington. We shows movies, put on live plays and other events, and keep our prices more affordable.
Operating Funds
Help us create opportunities for kids and families to thrive & grow.
Help us maintain a unique, welcoming theater! Money donated for Operations is unrestricted. Our ANNUAL APPEAL fund drive will run from December to February. The Valley Giving Guide Dec 3-31, 2024, will enable online donations for many area nonprofits including Liberty Theater, and will provide an estimated 10% matching funds for online donations. The web link is HERE. Mail-in and other donations to BMCF for Liberty Theater VGG will receive a lower matching rate. Donations sent directly to Liberty Theater will not receive matching funds. You can donate online directly to Liberty Theater any time of year with a button farther down on this page. |
We welcome gifts, endowments and bequests to help build a stable income in perpetuity for Operations.
You give these gifts to Blue Mountain Community Foundation (BMCF), for our benefit.

They can accept other kinds of gifts, for example stocks, land, or grain, if you telephone them to set it up, at 509.529.4371.
The TVAC Endowment Fund is owned and managed by BMCF, and only part of the earnings goes to Liberty Theater.
We can never spend the principal, so it lasts indefinitely, which is the advantage of your giving this way.
This will gradually make us less dependent on yearly donations.
For more information, please contact
the Theater Manager at 509-382-1380, or a Board member.
THANK YOU!
WE ALSO RECEIVE ONGOING ANNUAL DISTRIBUTIONS FROM:

Balcony Remodel Project 2019-2024
1. Improved safety in the front row of the balcony, which was the primary reason for the project. We widened the front row to create more space when entering and leaving the row, and this also made more space for your feet when seated.
2. We added stair nose lighting to improve safety on the new steps up and down from rows.
3. We improved leg room in all balcony rows (except row K) by moving the last row back, and distributing the space among the rows.
4. We improved visibility of the stage from seats in back rows of the balcony, by raising the seats higher. This created a step up into the new rows, with handrails.
5. We increased seating capacity by 4 seats, and replaced row N with the new seats with cupholders.
