Tuesday December 2-31, 2025, the VGG / Valley Giving Guide, https://www.valleygivingguide.org/organizations/the-liberty-theater |
an online giving platform for the Walla Walla Valley area,
with estimated 10% matching funds for online donations through the VGG website.
(slightly lower match for checks and other non-online donations to VGG directly to Blue Mountain Community Foundation, BMCF).
BMCF covers all the card fees. Your whole donation goes to The Liberty Theater.
But BMCF offers you the option to add the fees to your donation to support them administering the program, and this increases the pool of money for everyone's matching amounts.
There is no match for donations given directly to The Liberty Theater, they have to go through VGG to receive the match, but we still appreciate direct donations very much!.
This is all part of our Annual Appeal, which is one of our major sources of funds each year.
We rely on public support in addition to our ticket and concessions sales, especially for movies.
We are mailing a plain newsletter to most of the previous donors to our Annual Appeal. We don't use any fancy or more expensive fundraising methods, and we only ask you directly once a year.
WE APPRECIATE YOUR SUPPORT! THANK YOU!

Balcony Remodel Project 2019-2024
1. Improved safety in the front row of the balcony, which was the primary reason for the project. We increased the leg room in the front row to create more space when entering and leaving the row, and this also made more space for your feet when seated.
2. We added stair nose lighting to improve safety on the new steps up and down from rows.
3. We improved leg room in all the balcony rows by moving the last row back, and distributing the space among the rows.
4. We improved visibility of the stage from seats in back rows of the balcony, by raising the rear seats higher. This created a step up into some rows, with handrails.
5. We increased seating capacity by 4 seats, and replaced row N with the new seats with cupholders.
