About Us...

Picture
Since its remodeling and rebirth in 2001, the historic Liberty Theater in Dayton, Washington has been a home to first-run cinema, live stage productions, guest artist concerts, foreign films, short-film festivals, civic events and even weddings. In other words, it is a unique community place.

During a time when public school funding for the Arts has suffered, we are constantly working out our mission to preserve and enhance the Arts in Columbia County and SE Washington State as an indispensable dimension to our shared ecology and humanity. For the last 20 years, the Liberty Theater has helped connect people, strengthen families, develop youth leadership and enhance positive self-image across all ages. With both financial support and the skills and talents of many, we are a true partnership of people who believe in what we do.

The Liberty Theater is owned and operated by Touchet Valley Arts Council (TVAC), a non-profit organization.
Current President of TVAC is Dave Molesh.

Thank you and well wishes
to Mike Ferrians, who

resigned as Manager in October.
A management team will fill in
as we seek a new manager.
